Hi, my name is Josh and I'm a web developer and graphic designer!
Ever since I was little, I was mesmerized by technology and making computers bend to my will. My parents got me a copy of Paint Shop Pro when I was 7 and I would fiddle around with making things for hours and hours. When the web began taking off and dial-up was diminishing, I moved towards creating basic websites. When my parents realized I was serious when I was on the computer (instead of playing games), they bought me my first copy of Photoshop 7.
From there I got better and better working on my skills as a graphic designer. On the side, I was still creating websites, but nothing spectacular. I ended up taking every available computer course in high school, which involved three semesters of programming. Not only did this sharpen my logic skills, but led me into wanting to code and do more than design simple HTML websites.
In one of my web design classes in high school, we were required to develop a site for a real client. Me and my partner knew we weren't going to do it all by hand. We developed the site with the Content Management System (CMS) Joomla. After finding out the power we had, we developed the site. But then I took a look into WordPress. After finding out that the backend was nicer, the community was larger, and development was easier, I spent vast amounts of time researching and starting to work with themes and find out what made them tick.
After getting a few larger projects, I decided to develop exclusively with WordPress and PHP. It was faster and easier to use than anything else, and the clients loved that. Over the past couple years, I've learned so much, and I look forward to what the future holds!
If you'd like to get ahold of me and request a quote or suggest something to me, let me know!
